In real political news, Marilyn Mosby charges a different Baltimore cop with attempted murder.

Here's what I understand of the story: multiple cops respond to commercial burglary.  Suspect flees, is confronted.  Cops say, hands up.  Suspect reaches down.  Cops (2) shoot suspect.  Suspect is hit.  After suspect is hit, while cops (2) are still covering him, Harry Bad Ass cop comes out of an alley, in front of cops (2) approaches suspect closely, and shoots him again.

First two cops not charged, third charged.

Three goddamn cheers for justice.  No sarcasm.  Might have something going here if these folks stop getting away with it.  The first two did their jobs and the the third is a plague on civilization.  We have to control the police.  It's fundamental.

At the same time, motherfargers, these cops who run into danger, they get to shoot the farging bad guys instead of die needlessly.  If you don't like that, maybe thing about this idea of everyone having guns.


edit: attempted murder.  the charge is for attempted murder.  the poor bastich survived all these shootings and god bless us all he did, what a wonderful farging future we can look forward to, together

Baltimore  has already matched its murder total from all of last year because the police basically stopped policing after the Freddie grey arrests

I saw on WMAR (Seriously who watches abc2) an interview with a woman about finding bodies in the vacants and how she wants to get her kids out of the community.  I could have sworn it was the wire, but nope.  Baltimore.  Real Life.
