hes not going to retire after this year, so you cant even keep him for nostalgia purposes. on top of that, the only reason hes playing is to showcase him for a trade. theyd prefer to go with galvis/hernandez every day until the end of the season.

like i said, organization depth arm. youre looking for a guy who, if everything shakes out right, could be a dependable ML pitcher, but odds are is going to be david buchanan. but, if you have like 10 of those guys in your organization, you gotta figure 1 or 2 are going to reach their full potential. so, you know, organizational depth.
