I'm probably late on this but Eagles/Giants rivalry was ranked #1 on the NFLN countdown. Eagles/Boys was 8th I believe. It's funny how one sided the actually rivalry is in memorable moments towards the Eagles. They didn't even show the Westbrook punt return because there were so many other moments.

The Byars/Johnson hit is still the nastiest hit ever

i dont doubt that eagles/giants is better than eagles/cowboys....closer proximity, more history, legit city beef....its all there

but eagles/cowboys is very real and very good

actually Dallas eagle rivalry is the opposite of real....it's good if both teams are good cause they play in the same division

the home opener is going to be epic because of all this but not because it's Dallas

dc rivalry doesn't exist outside of my mind and is far less meaningful than dallas...difference is I recognize this where as the moron eagle fan base stays obsessed with Dallas and continues to embarrass itself

I was in Dallas in 2013...they hate the Eagles. HATE. I was wearing an Eagles  hoodie and got several comments. They weren't iceholes and their comments came with a smile but Dallas fans don't like the Eagles and it's a legit two way rivalry.

The reason Eagles fans hate Dallas fans so much is because of all the Philly residents who turned Dallas fans plus they're like the Lakers, that flashy team that's easy to hate.
