The Celtics float stuff out there so they can drive up the value of players they want to get rid of, like Marcus Smart. Teams re-evaluate him and maybe it drives up his worth. A lot of teams do this, but this time the Celtics took it to the extreme.

If Russell's gone take Okafor and trade him to the highest bidder.

you cant trade down....the whole purpose of tanking should be to try and get a star....they have to end up with one of kat angie or porzingis (can include mudiay if you want)....its a huge drop off from there as far as players who could end up being a stars....i would do anything i could to trade up to one or two....you got all these assets for a reason....use them to get the KAT

that said if they wanna take okafor and deal him to say the knicks im fine with that...but any further than 4-5 no way

Agreed - a deep trade down would be disastrous unless they netted a legit vet player too and that won't happen

I'm ok with Mudiay too - just don't want Porzingis.

boogie is a cancer who would absolutely destroy whats left of the sixers organization....boogie needs to go to a solid franchise with strong leadership and respected veteran players...he would be a complete clown show in an enviroment like they have right now
