i'm about 5 episodes into a show called peaky blinders. about a gangster family in 1920s england after the war. lots of fighting and gambling and drinking.

i love shtein like this and someone just told me about it last week.

pretty badass so far. they keep razor blades in their hats and slice peoples eyes with them.

i've literally for the last 20 years judged people on if they were a letterman or leno fan.

letterman fans i usually like and have a sense of humor (and are mostly liberal) and leno fans i usually don't (and are mostly republican). at least thats my experience.

but once conan came around i was all conan in high school. still watch every now and then.

i haven't regularly watched any of it in a while now but after hearing letterman's monologue, it's definitely time for a fresh face. i don't watch jon stewart or colbert either but this shteins seems old as farg.

funny dude though, i imagine thats how the older generation felt about johnny.

phattymatty

solid top ten list though.

jld not only killed with her line, she looked insane

but these things are always about the last moment....well see what dave does
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

MDS

dave absolutely killed it

johnny was a self centered icehole and ended it like one

jay was a bore and ended it like one

dave on the other hand, destroyed.

agreed.

he's definitely a psychopath for not even getting teary eyed but thats why he's good.

and who the farg is this cornan guy? honestly first time i've ever heard of him. and he got reggie watts? reggie is awesome. this host is not.

I heard this is a damn good show.  Thanks for the update.

Rome

Julia-Louis Dreyfus knocked that shtein outta the park on the top 10.  The look on Seinfeld's face was hilarious.

top ten list was cool....the rest of the show was a complete snoozefest

I liked the photo montage at the end and the kids' segment was great at well.  You can't top King Carson's exit.  All-time GOAT.

im not into skits and goofy shtein like dave taking over a drive thru or those stupid kids....first of all it usually seems fake...but even if it isnt its just not funny

talk shows to me are all about the guests

dave just did it....i know youre old and grew up with johnny as your only option but he was a fleshpophead womanizing POS. jack parr and steve allen were more influential and get 0% of the credit because everyone is up johnny's ass.

farg johnny.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds
