feels like game 5 of the 2011 nlds all over again

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Was watching the hockey game, and tuned in just in time to see DeFratus give up the home run.

The Fightin' Phils.  In a nutshell.

LA is losing his mind that Severino has been lifted after 64 pitches.

He's on a roll...talking about how he got yelled at in the minors as a pitching coach for leaving Matt Beech in through the 7th when he'd have over 100 pitches.

Don Ho

LA in TV booth when?  Stairs is horrible.
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

Stark was on with Miss yesterday and said teams are starting to take an interest in Howard. MOVE HIM for the love of God. I can see Amaro holding onto him because he thinks he's back his 2008 form.

Rome

This exactly. Thanks for the memories, Choje & Grit.  Now gtfo.

unless im missing something tampa and anaheim are the only 2 teams he makes any kind of sense for. seattle and bodymore are big maybes. i cant see an NL team making a move for him.

id love for them to move him, of course, but im not sure if itll even work.

if he keeps hitting like this it will work itself out just fine.

If guns kill people then spoons made Rosie O'Donnel a fatass.

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

of course, pretty sure the team knows that and accepted it already. his performance, or lack thereof, has been the holdup.

salary is a major issue...its not about the fact that the phils have to eat some...its how much are they willing to do....and thus far thats been a sticking point

they could have traded him before this hot streak if they had hit the magic number on money

im not so sure on that with the way he was playing before the streak. i mean what teams were trying to get him ?

either way it still ties to his performance. the better he plays the more another team will be willing to pay him out of their own pockets. there's some real interest now. they need to listen, take the best they can get, pay what the have to pay and move him.

Stark said they could probably get a B level prospect and maybe have to eat less money, he didn't say how much though. Amaro thinks they're going on a run though so he'll hold onto everyone.

Rome

The absolute worst thing they need is to challenge for a wildcard.  They need to fail spectacularly enough to purge everyone over 30 and rid themselves of Roob.  Nothing else is acceptable to me nor should it be to anyone who isn't a completely hopeless homer.
