i was all for russell but wouldnt have been upset if they ended up with mudiay.

russell will def bring some more swagger and the man can drop the rock.

I'm not gonna compare Russell to ET because I don't hate the guy but I see MUDIAY (ha my phone autocorrects to all caps with word) but MUDIAY has superstar potential. Russell doesn't.

i dont see one having more potential than the other....and i dont see superstar in either one....to me the choice is do you want a power guard athlete who attacks the basket or a playmaker who can shoot....and right now they need shooting in the worst way...especially with the two young bigs they got...someone has to open the floor and get them the ball

i wont hate on either one if they are the choice and i see both sides....shtein ive been on both sides of these two

i see winslow more as a glue guy....a do everything lock down defender draymond green type...yeah he might lean more towards being a scorer than dray but i dont like winslow on the offensive end as much as a lot of people...thats not a knock....whoever gets him is going to have a super valuable guy but sixers need a guy who has the ball in his hands every position

if embiid turns out to be the dream and not greg oden....maybe.

i know they have 10000 assets but its very open to question hinkie's ability to evaluate talent. we wont know if it works until it does work.

even if it does it wont change how insulting the last few years have been. i hope it does, of course.

i agree emiid's ability to play and not be the next oden is huge but you're a philly sports fans, the last couple few sixers' seasons shouldnt even have bothered you one bit considering the zesty sports history this city has.

the team is getting there. next year you will have reason for hope with all the young talent on the court. id rather watch that then see the yearly borefest the team was before hinkie got here.
