i know you only pay attention to grady sizemore's BA but the returns hes got for jimmy, rubber toe, byrd, etc. have been very well received

and he isnt scouting potential players they could get for harang....in fact he may just go for a PTBNL and they scout from a list for a few weeks, then pick. also hes aaron harang and they arent getting a pile of poop for him because hes aaron harang.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Oh please show me the way oh wise one. Please enlighten us!

Like you're the only one who pays attention to the minors? Keep ridin for your homie RAJ

Harang is going to be great trade bait

he might go for higher than anticipated....but hes aaron harang

Cheap veteran arm with playoff experience who's pitching very well. Not saying they're getting a teams top prospect but he's definitely worth a good prospect. Trade him, Hamels, Pap, get the #1 pick in the draft and suddenly there's prospects.

he can get you: a. a future middle reliever; b. a future kyle kendrick clone; c. a 1-tool position player. hes aaron harang. nobody cares that hes put 2 decent months together. there is 10 years of data on him and it all points to the indisputable fact that hes aaron harang.

pap cant get them a ton, but if they agree to eat his contract they can get something. hes really been good and a squad like the astros could use a back end dude.

hamels has been and will always be the guy. its him or nothing.

id love for them to get the 1 (sorry, tex) but they wouldnt get to use that pick until june 2016 and that player wouldnt become a viable prospect until 2018 or 2019. strap on your strap on and strap in....its a long climb to the top.

for harang to have any real value you need a contending team to have a pitcher go down and get desperate

hes basically what moyer was back in 2007....an improvement over whoever the last guy in the rotation is for that team. the phillies at that point were trotting out scott matheison every 5th day so getting someone like harang would be a nice little deal.

a team can convince itself that hamels will make a difference and win them some games and be a horse in the playoffs. harang wouldnt even be guaranteed to pitch a playoff game if the team he is traded to makes it.
