yeah its horrible....especially in light of it coming after arguably the greatest single season of non wire tv ever

3-4-5 are obviously way better than 2...and i wont say that the show should have ended after s1 but dont you think it could have ended after s1 and you be perfectly happy if 2-3-4-5 were never made....maybe happy isnt the right word but fine with it
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

SunMo

yeah, S1 has a really satisfying conclusion.

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

thats cause they were all terrible....i think because of the writers strike but lil guy can confirm

s2 went bad because nbc essentially asked that they turn it into a horrible soap opera
the story ended abruptly because of the writers strike
for those 2 reasons, when they came back in s3, they just started over
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Don Ho

American Idol cancelled after next year.  THANK YOU GOD, couple of years to late but thank you any way.

Bad news, Hawaii 5-0 back for season 6.  My God I hate that show.  I watched the last two episodes this season, only two I watched all season, and they were so poorly written, horribly acted and an embarrassment to network TV.  No wonder the networks are dying.  Keep putting trash like that on guys.
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

QB Eagles

Whoa. If a network can't get Don Ho to watch a Hawaii show, it must be seriously bad. That's like not being able to sell cocaine to Josh Hamilton.

Same goes for the Pro Bowl, I know you hate that shtein Don.

PhillyPhreak54

lolol that's funny

Probably because there are too many god damn shows. I wait for a bunch of people (usually on CF) to over hype a show before I even consider giving it a chance.

are there that many good shows on right now?....i kow for a while some years back there was a golden age of tv dramas...but whats good now besides mad men and thats going off the air?

granted im not a huge tv guy and i hate dungeon and dragons but what else is on right now in the drama category that i should know about.....i think i watch leftovers and thats it....but maybe im forgetting something

I don't know, you guys (in general, all of you) talk about a million shows. I usually wait for a consensus or will read about a show before I decide to invest time into it.

i really liked bloodline on netflix, though im not sure if anybody else even bothered watching it.

some people love the americans on fx, but i was bored by it and gave it up

running through transparent on amazon right now....absolutely superb so far

true detective comes back soon

justified just ended

orange is the new black comes back soon but a female centered soap with a multi cultural cast is not the type of thing thats going to play here

havent seen american crime but have actually heard some good things about it

leftovers i think in the fall

---essentially we are past the golden age of tv. everyone has a show or 2 that they think is great, but others dont see it the same way. the sopranos/wire/breaking bad consensus $$$$$money$$$$$ show doesnt exist right now.

You'd probably like House of Cards on Netflix.

Second True Detective looks like a train wreck. Farrell looks like a caricature with his stupid stache.

I mean, you don't like it and that's fine, but Greenwald and other critics have repeatedly called GoT the last consensus show on TV among audience + critical community.

The Americans is very good.  I feel like I'm torn on it because the people who like it (Greenwald/Sepinwall etc) are pretty adamant about it being the best show on TV which I wouldn't say.  I feel like it's good but something is holding it back from being great.

I watch Shameless but thought it wasn't as good this year.   Really like OITNB.

Will watch TD but not sure how optimistic I am about this season.
