Also McNubbs holding the ball like a loaf of bread on the opening play. Rookie. This team learns nothing. Nice throw to nowhere also on the new series, too.
Here comes 15 consecutive passes
throw! throw! throw! throw!
Throw that was short of the first regardless of the drop. SeaRomes at mid-field Why does this team never seem ready to play a farging game? Why does it always have to come back from being down?
Dio,
I hope you have some good errands to run.
Ryan Howard needs to come teach the Eagles some tackling techniques.
Do they have to start out terrible every week? This is getting so old.
I think they watched too much spankervision in the hotel room last night.
Curtis gets up holding his wrist.
they look....PATHETIC
McNabb is farging brutal
Can't wait to see what the Giants D does to him next week
There's Westbrook rallying the team. McNabb grinning to himself under a towel down by the heater....Nice almost pick there...Great series there. nice job.
McNabb looks farging awful.

god i hope they lose 42-0 so that fat mormon farg gets his ass canned.

Your last 30 minutes > Everyone elses
Westbrook ate the last of the peach cobbler again, I see. Throw, throw and throw again!
lol, another throw that takes 10 seconds to develop
It's raining and zesty so Reid calls 7 out of his first 10 plays as passes. I farging hate him.
Holy shtein a 1st down!
THanks for the channel surfing link :yay or :boo the way it's going
A first down! :o
8 yards on a 1st down carry, 2 throws coming up
is curtis in?
Nice pass to Celek under pressure.
LJ who?
farg you mcnabb
LJ would have fumbled that ball
Not such a nice pass to the Seahawks defender.
how dumb was that throw
worthless
Terrible pass on that interception.
Great pass there Donovan. Double farging coverage.
The seahawks are at the bottom of the league in PAss D right?

THe D needs to step the farg up, damn it now
For a guy that protects the ball as much as McNabb does...WTF was he thinking throwing that ball?
Jesus.
He has look like shtein the last two weeks What the farg did he do during the bye?
farg McNabb....
If he thinks the Philly fans and press were tough on him before, that won't be jack shtein now that the Phils have won a world title. This is downright embarrassing.
ok, how is donovan gonna farg up this drive? i think fumble
if the phillies just didnt win the world series i would get on a plane and gut donovan with a letter opener
Happy Thoughts

It really is crazy how much the Phillies changed my mindset of sports. Now that they won I'm not constantly stressing out about the other teams having to win a championship and end the drought. I still want them to win badly, but at least I finally experienced a championship in my lifetime.
Got lucky on that dropped pass. The Walrus and Reid - even their teams look and play alike
Stop. farging. Passing. The. Ball. You. Stupid. Fat. farg.
This team is no better than whoever they are playing.
For some reason I just can't work up the anger that I would usually be spewing in copious amounts by now.
World farging championships are making me soft.
Nice run by Celeck who brings a new meaning to the word "lumbering"
Pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass.
TD 86
Damn, a Reggie Brown TD! I guess anything is possible.
Hey, Retchie Brown made the plane this week!
if he trots akers out here he needs to be decapitated
go for it - if you can't get this foot, you don't deserve to win anyway
Wost manneans!
really?
ha Wallace spiked the ball on 3rd down and they had to punt
14-7 Eagles at halftime
Letsee now...
Slow start - check
Poor ball protection - check
Inopportune vintage mcnabb pick in an endzone - check
Sissy 3rd and short performance again - check
poor time managment - check
dropped passes - check
Lito high vagina sprain - check
all this is against a farging 2-5 west-coast team.
Reid in his gay western "duster" looking like he would kill any horse he attempts to mount - its a crime that a duster is even allowed to be made in that size.
Nice pass on 3rd and 2...
Meanwhile the giants are creaming the cowturds. Our turn in the merde should be delightful next week.
Failed goals. Very nice
DeSean Jackson is dumb, in case anyone was still questioning that.
Celek is owning these guys. I don't really care if we see LJ again.
Very nice play by the TE's today.....
Celek has got 131 yards so far. Ha!
Red zone offense sucks shtein again.

It's something that HAS to be corrected. It's maddening :boom
At least they got close enough today so Akers could hit the FGs.
The Giants are going to absolutely embarrass this team next week.
nah, it will be close, I say we fargin beat them next week. I am so confident Reid will put them in the positions they need to be in to win.
Wow. Booker sucks ass.
THe defense at least showed up for all but one play.
1 penalty the entire game for the Eagles and it came on a horse collar tackle with :16 left
LJ can follow Lindross into the jelly-brained abyss.
Herremans looked better at TE.
Jesus the negativity in this thread.
McNabb got off to his usual slow start....but again the defense maned up. McNabb went on to complete 25 of his last 30 passes and this team is going to get creamed by the Giants? Christ people.
The only way they get "Creamed" by the Giants is if the defense shteins the bed early...because everyone here should know by now that McNabb is not good early on in the game.

I hope not ...
It's a home game so let's hope that carries them but you cannot get to high about the Eagles beating a team they should have.
It's the Seahawks, Munson. They were supposed to drill that team into submission.
They did and woohoo and all.
If the Eagles don't get a whole lot better before next week they're going to get slaughtered by the Giants.
NY Giants 7 1
Washington 6 2
Philadelphia 5 3
Dallas 5 4
That does make me feel better
Steelers get Willie Parker back and are pissed. It sure would be nice to see the skins lose again.
For a team that is so worried about Westbrook's health that they are hesitant to resign him, they sure don't give a damn about him on the field.
It seems like he is always the back closing out the game by running it up the gut.
I know that they put booker in for the very, very last drive, but why is westbrook running the ball against 8 man fronts with 4 minutes left?
Did buckhalter even get one carry today?

Define "a whole lot better". This team went out and did something they historically have had trouble doing, even when they were a "good" team....they beat the team they were supposed to beat, and pretty handily. If Lito sheppard doesn't fall down and hurt his vagina, this game was a shut out. THey allowe 146 total yards of offense.
Yeah, it's the Seahawks. But this is the first time this year I wasn't worried at any point throughout the game that the Eagles would lose.
If the defense plays this good or better against the Giants, the Eagles are not going to get "embarrassed". The only thing that needs improvement next week is they need more early pressure on Manning to throw him off. Get some hits on him and beat him up early.
Good article on Herremans' TD (http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/eagles/20081102_Todd_Herremans__touchdown_maker.html):
QuoteHerremans' TD reception was the second in team history by a player listed as an offensive lineman. The other came Oct. 7, 1934, when Bob Gonya caught a 4-yard touchdown from Dan Barnhardt against the Pittsburgh Pirates at the Baker Bowl.
Celek broke Keith Jackson's franchise record for yards by a TE in a regular season game.
I'm ready to call Jackson a bust. He seems completely incapable of making smart decisions.
good for celek. lets move lj out ASAP. akers impressed me today but hasn't convinced me yet. mcnabb had a poor start indeed, but he did come back quite nicely. still though they need to start strong and be consistent all 4 qtrs. the play calling in the beginning was just awful vintage reid. just keep it basic...run pass run. its not that hard reid for crying out loud when will it stop.
oh and on a side note. the god damn commentators today had it out for the eagles. i really wanted them both to die a painful death
Really? Baldinger is almost always pro-Philly because of his work on FOX29 and CSN
I thought both broadcasters this week were more pro-Eagles than any in recent memory. I'm pretty sure I remember them flat-out declaring that Philly fans are the best fans in pro sports.

...and he grew up in Cherry Hill, played for the Eagles, and now lives in Marlton. Just a few more reasons to suspect he's not an Eagles hater.
Dick Stockton is from Philly also.
They definitely seemed pretty pro Eagles today. They talked a lot of Phillies too.

You overrate the need for a player to be highly intelligent. Reid might want you on his scouting staff.

How do you manage to perceive things wildly incorrectly so often? This isn't even a smart/dumb thing; it's basic comprehension of the obvious.

I'd take functionally intelligent at this point. If you gave him the choice between riding to work in a new car or a rabid badger, I believe he would be very excited about the latter.
That badger just needs to be put in a better position to succeed.

The latter does sound like a challenge, though. You gotta love the kid's competitiveness.
Wow, I def. heard both those ass hats disagreeing with a lot of the calls on the field. i can't recall all the plays but they wanted to call the 4 and 1 QB sneak by McNabb a "sure fumble" and there were at least 3 other comments that I just couldn't fathom them even saying mostly all in the 1st half. And I talking about the Eagles game not the Phillies people. But whatever I suck anyway and can't be taken seriously.

He's too good to be a bust, but he is absurdly stupid. What the hell was he thinking going for the punted ball in traffic. Sometimes his decisions as a punt returner remind me of Lewis and whoever else against Green Bay last year which is scary. He really does need to limit his game changing plays to ones in favor for the Eagles and quit doing stupid crap like letting punted balls bounce of his chest, putting the Bears in position to win.
brian baldinger is unreal eagle homer...how could anyone think hed ever be biased against the birds
more reno less pimp
Yeah, igy is right. Baldinger and his crooked 90-degree pinkie is an Eagles lackey.
let it be known i love the guy and hes an amazing analyst but he be green
He may be the lovechild of Jaws and Spadaro.
