Will Marion Barber play against the Eagles? That will be a major storyline this week. Barber left the game after bruising his ribs in the second half. The X-rays were negative, and the Cowboys are optimistic that he'll be able to play against in next week's big NFC East matchup.

I thought Dallas came out strong but faded, and Romo had some pressure on him in the second half, also Barber was injured. I didn't see the birds game, but did they struggle in anyway? i know it was against Stl. but they seemed very impressive, considering the typical slow start we see.

Looks like it's going to hit about 150 miles south of here in the Port Lavaca area. I have several customers down that way and sold a shtein load of plywood to them this week.
If it strikes between Corpus and Port Lavaca there's not much out there to damage. As with all hurricanes the problem will be storm surge and that could effect the whole coast because the continental shelf in the Gulf is shallow. So we could see some effects up here.
If it hits a little more between Port Lavaca and Houston then we'll be on the heavy rain side of things. Mandatory evacuations were taking place in the Freeport area. Another section that I cover for business.
