lol...I was thinking the same thing.  He looks like he doubled in size.  Maybe the darker Eagles duds are slimming.

Yeaaaah, see, I need to find that kind of job.  The one where I can let myself just fall apart and then reap a multi-million $ bonus.

If Corey Simon gets any bigger, the Navy's gonna name a class of warship after him.

Corey looks bigger then Hollis...

Wow...I'm really glad the Eagles didn't drop big money on him.  He looks like any other wide body that plays by taking up space.

I'm not sure I'd say that-- but Simon sure as hell looks softer.

Its funny because Corey's game was always speed not being a fat run stopper now he's becoming less effective at the best part of his game while becoming more of a marginal player.  He looked like he was winded after every play and i was dying when Peg Leg said they only plan to have in in for 15-20snaps

I think Simon's going more for the Keith Traylor, "sloppy fat" , look.

From PFT:

Quote5.  Corey Simon is the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man.

Maybe it's because the Colts haven't had many wide bodies on defense lately, or maybe it's because he had plenty of time to pig out in the offseason, but seeing newly-signed defensive tackle Corey Simon in his all-whites on Sunday night conjured memories of the climactic scene from Ghostbusters.

Oooh that's good!!  We all knew he'd be out of "playing" shape but WOW.  The announcers ( :evil) weren't kidding when they said he was twice the size of any of the other Indy down linemen.

Yet the national media keeps saying that the Colts aquired a great run stopper...I swear, I do not know how some of those sports "journalists" got their jobs.   ::)

Add a camel-toe to the marshmellowman, and you've got a dead ringer....

He's not just fat..he played like shtein.  I won't hold my breath waiting for his cheerleaders to show up and admit the Eagles FO made the right move.

check out the Simon thread in the Eagles talk section. hunt's already making excuses saying he'll play into shape this year. At least IGY's got some balls.

Listening to ESPN Radio on my way home from my after-school meeting (nothing like getting home from "school" at 8pm  :boom), someone (don't know if it was an expert or just a caller) was talking about how Corey Simon "held" Jamal Lewis to 48 yards.

Not the Colts.  Corey Simon.

:-D

One tackle, one assist.  The only way you could call that dominant is if he were your son, playing in the special Olympics, and you were talking to the parent of another retard.

He sucked.  Sucked balls.  On a tether.

Can you imagine what Simon will look like after he's been out of the league for a couple years? The Royal Astronomical Society will have to classify him.

Thought this was pretty funny. (http://www.jacksonville.com/tu-online/stories/091605/jag_19783604.shtml)

QuoteSimon is listed at 293 pounds, but he appeared at least 50 pounds heavier than that in his Colts debut against Baltimore. The former Florida State standout was so big that -- no joke -- one of his jersey numbers fell off during the game from being stretched too thin....
:o :-D

HAHA, I said that during the game...that he was so fat the number couldn't stay attached.

He's gross.

Good for him.  Too bad it didn't occur to him a few years ago that it would be a good idea to stop eating after thirds, spend some time in the gym.
