Rome

Actually, it's very patriotic.   It celebrates the American spirit in a way that only a draft-dodging weasel like Ronald Reagan and the ridiculous party hacks he surrounded himself with could so egregiously misinterpret.

never would have thought but the newest mumford and sons album is good as farg. like rock n roll bluegrass and soul ass squished into one. really surprising as i always assumed they were some garbage indie band.

Munson

I loved Little Lion Man when it came out, but every other song since then sounded way too similar for me. I think most of them came from the first CD though, I don't know what I've heard from the new album, if anything.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

phattymatty

easily possible, i've never heard any of their other albums.

the best written song of all time...

out where the creek turn shallow and sandy....and the moon comes skimmin away the stars
when the mesquite comes rushin over the hilltops
straight into my arms......straight into my arms

im ridin hard carryin a cache of roses
and a fresh map that i made
tonight im gonna get birth naked and bury my old soul
and dance on its grave....and dance on its grave

its been a long time comin my dear
its been a long time comin but now its here
and now its here

well my daddy he was just a stranger...lived in a hotel downtown
well when i was a kid he was just somebody
somebody id see around
somebody id see around

well now down below and pullin on my shirt
yeah i got some kids of my own
if i had one wish for you in this god forsaken world kids
itd be your mistakes will be your own
yeah your sins will be your own

its been a long time comin my dear
its been a long time comin but now its here
and now its here

out neath the arms of cassopeia
where the sword of orion sweeps
its me and you rosie cracklin like crossed wires
you breathin in your sleep
you breathin in your sleep

well theres just a spark of a campfire left burnin
two kids in a sleeping bag beside
reach neath your shirt....put my hands across your belly
and feel another one kickin inside
and i aint gonna farg it up this time

someone explain to me what mumford and sons story is

never heard a note of their music but they intrigue me because it seems people either despise them or love them....like a dave matthews or coldplay...not in how they sound but in how polarizing they are

they are hispster heaven?...is that correct?

what kind of music do they play

You're really struggling to wrap your head around this whole hipster thing, huh? I can only imagine what you think of the goths, emos, bronies, LARPers, sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, dickheads, and feminists.

theres no struggle at all....the only question is whether mumford and sons is loved by hipsters

i suspect they are as folk would be something the hipsters would try to make popular because everyone else rightly despises it
