newest euro model from less than an hour ago has the storm really slowing down meaning a trough that is out west right now is going to miss pushing it out to sea...NOT GOOD

however our model has the heart of it heading out to sea off cape hatteras

If you look at the map above, it says 5-10% chance of tropical storm force winds in Philly. Same for Balt-Wash, odds a little higher for NYC and Boston. And west of the eye has been much less intense than east of it, in terms of rain.

Through a weird coincidence, it doesn't seem like it will do much to impact Week 5 of the NFL unless it fargs up the Dolphins stadium earlier in the week. Ravens game is the only game in the whole Northeast. That can't be too frequent.

great new 5am euro....a H has it going straight out to sea off the coast of south carolina....freeing up completely the middle atlantic and certainly the neast...it might actually now swing around and hit florida a second time next week
