I was watching that live, and while everyone else was going "oh my god!!" apparently they only realized he could have died right before he hit the ground. That's farging ridiculous that it's basically 50 feet straight down and he didn't even get severely hurt.

At 40 to 42 seconds into the video after he just fell...you hear the skater announcer say, "wow....I can't believe he did a 720" as the guy's body is lying there motionless. :-D
