Got tix for Pearl Jam in Camden in September.

It's right around opening day for the Birds, so gents, it's time to get your livers in order because your old pal Romey is coming home!

Are they ending the show at 7:30 so everyone in attendance can get to bed at a reasonable time?

The man. The myth. The legend.

if I see any of them live in the 2020s, I will have seen them live in concert in 4 different decades.  Jesus.

I was supposed to go to NIN at Rockville here in Hell before they Covided out.

I'm not missing PJ in Philly.  No way.  Lawn seats were $80 including fees but the VIP seats were $800. Yeah no.

If I go I might be able to get you vip access with an extremely slim chance of getting backstage. Just an fyi vip access is just an area with local peops and includes free beer and food. You're still sitting on the lawn.

Free beer and charred tasty animals=count me in.

Going to Rockville on Sunday after all.  NIN agreed to appear because of Taylor Hawkins' death.  It was supposed to be Jane's Addiction and Smashing Pumpkins too but now Porno For Pyros is listed.

Jesus what a mess but that's rock and roll.

Also - Matt Cameron and Jeff Ament from Pearl Jam both got the COVID's.  I hope they're all good by September.

mmrbq last night. Meh lineup but living colour played and the lead singer walked up and down the aisles slapping us high fives. Disturbed was the headliner. I only know maybe 2 of their songs but they still put on a great show.

I don't know how many times I've seen NIN before.  Probably 10 or so?   Tonite was, well... interesting.

Friday and Saturday were both mostly rained out.  Big surprise in Florida in May, right?  Anyway, today was not bad weather wise.  Saw Halestorm, (not bad) Porno For Pyros (interesting considering it was their first performance in 26 years, and finally Smashing Pumpkins.  They were really amazing.

But back to NIN... if anything was going to go wrong on a usually flawless (down to the beat) set, tonite was the night.  About four songs in, they completely lost power to their monitors (meaning they couldn't hear their own performance.). They were just starting March Of The Pigs when poof, it all went dead.  Trent came on and basically said because of the humidity, their system failed.

Anyway, after about 15 minutes, shtein got back on track, and it was incredible.  I'd love to see them without the metal trash around me, but other than that, it was phenomenal.

Go see them.

The end.

low cut connie was there i believe...really like them. philly band, but couldnt make the show.

went to that punk show instead. a jew loves a hook up. not much of a fan of this type of music so had never been to a show...its pretty chaotic but like organized chaos. people just randomly go on to the stage to go crowd surfing. the band just kinda plays through it. they went hard for 1 hour and that was it. i guess it takes a lot out of you to play nonstop. fun but not anything id ever want to listen to any other context.

the band was cool as shtein though...like legit people. i think theyre coming through again in the fall so if anyone wants to see amyl and the sniffers i might be able to help.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds
