Lol yeah he posts stuff like that all the time, he's a complete dweeb but posts stuff like that in earnest as like a way to mock right wingers with extremely bad takes. My bad, forgot to mention that

One day people will figure out that stores are private property. Probably whenever we get around to oil riots.

Probably for the best. One of the models the White House is using basically says holding out until June instead of mid-may will probably do wonders for the numbers. If you can do that+ramp up testing and tracing, you may actually have a chance at crushing it.

Been following the Chester County numbers since I have family there/my cousin has it. Seems like their positive tests per day are starting to drop a bit. If they can keep people in until June it seems like they've got a legit shot.

First it was April then May now June. Wait till summer hits and everyone says farg you.

Munson

I mean, yeah, it's not like you can just drop an end date on it and expect the virus and the pandemic to cooperate. You keep extending it until you got shtein under control.

Please, this is the nicest part of the year. When we hit mid June and we've got 90 degree days and high humidity, people are gonna be scurrying back inside to be in their air conditioning anyway. The beaches are gonna be trouble though.

That's the thing...there is no end date. They're just delaying the inevitable. Unless you're banking on the magic vaccine it's time to grip the reality that opening the world up and monitoring the high risk is a happy median. There is no perfect solution but there is a balance.

It isn't about an end date, it's about not overloading hospitals so the people in them have a chance to recover. I know you don't care about other people, but thankfully your opinion doesn't count.

I live with a hospital nurse who treats Covid patients (from time to time, not routinely, mostly with proper PPE, not always).  We have two children.  We live next to Grands that are 70+ and have high risk conditions.  Given the nature of the disease, I cannot in good conscience let my children visit their own family in the house next door.  Every time my wife goes to work, the clock re-sets on whether or not we are infected.

So when do you think it's a good idea for me to go back to work?  And how do you propose I pay my bills in the meantime?  I've got a signed contract, permits in place to build a fancy porch.  I stood down on that because I can't call that essential and sleep at night.   I stay home because I don't want to push this bug around to people I don't know.   I also stay home because school is closed, through the end of the year.  Summer camps are not available.  There's no end in sight for me.

My savings are running out. I've applied for unemployment for the first time in my life.  Two weeks, nothing.  No communication, no money.  I've been independent and productive my whole life, putting more into the kitty than I take out year after year after year.  Now I'm being asked to stay home and idle, and being given zero support to do that.

Am I to be bankrupted so I can protect iceholes like SD, who don't give a farg about me or my family?

Are you going to put a yellow star on my house so you can go to Disneyland?  Are you going to send me the $4000 per month I would otherwise normally bring in?

Are you going to come clean my brains off the wall and hold my crying children?

You piece of shtein?

My story times millions...abandon us at your own peril.

If we gonna have guns everywhere, then this makes sense and I welcome it:
