speaking of the goat david simon, he just sold a show to hbo about child protective services.

the man knows how to make depressing tv
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

SD

Masters of the Air - definitely check it out if you liked band of brothers. Not as good but same creators and some really great storylines

Shogun on fx/hulu has been dynamite so far

Manhunt - story of the hunt for John Wilkes Booth. Only two episodes dropped so far but it's terrific

Fallout. This may come as a shock to you, but I'm a huge fargin' dork. I love the Fallout games, the universe, the lore. Up until Disco Elysium came out, Fallout New Vegas was the most perfect role playing game ever made.

Like any true Fallout fan, I'm super critical of what Bethesda's done with the IP since they bought it. The show is pretty fargin' good through, probably because they didn't let their own writers anywhere near it. The right mix of goofy jokes and goofy gore for Fallout.

The man. The myth. The legend.

SD

I could never get into the game but the show hooked me in. I like it doesn't take itself too serious. Will definitely watch a season 2

Baby Reindeer was dark. But very good.

are any of you dorks watching shogun

its pretty decent, looks great, anna sawain is outrageous, but they dont talk at all like that in the 1600s and i cant stand the main guy. also why did they insist on keeping the characters portugese when they are speaking english

Did you finish the series? Entire show was great but final two episodes were insane. Anna Sawain is smokin

We were the lucky ones - Jewish family flees Poland during nazi invasion but promise to meet up again one day. They show what they do individually to survive. Based off a true story. Decent series only one episode left.

Franklin - not sure there's ever been a worst casting decision than Michael Douglas as Benjamin Franklin. Holy hell the acting is brutal. It covers the period when Franklin was the ambassador to France and what he had to go through to get funding/weapons/troops etc to support the colonies against the English. I'll finish it because I love anything revolutionary war but my god is it bad.

Good suggestions on Under The Bridge and We Were The Lucky Ones - they're in our rotation now.

Also The Tattooist of Auschwitz comes out this week on Peacock and is supposed to be pretty good
