His poise, athleticism, arm, mental grasp of the game each range from good to excellent.

His mechanics are an issue and he's got to learn how to stop throwing high in the middle of the field...which is mostly mechanics related.  I'd guess at least half his ints this year were on high throws.  I suppose the 1 benefit to worm burners was that they never got picked.

I'm thinking that his poor mechanics are linked to his inability to set his feet. Yeah, he can throw on the run, but he shouldn't have to do that as much as he has. Give him a little more pocket comfort and another second or two to plant, and everybody will benefit.
