My co-worker was going on and on about Wentz this morning. She kept insisting that he was going to be the next MVP and blah blah blah. I just kinda laughed and said, yeah, you REALLY aren't from Philly, are you?

I fully expect Dr James Andrews's name to be mentioned in connection with Wentz before too long.

He looks like the real deal as much as any Eagles player I've ever seen in their rookie year, but any Philly fan anointing him after three games hasn't been around this team long.

I love what I'm seeing, but my guard will be up until he does the same thing the rest of this season and comes back next season as the same guy. Until then I'm on the alert for regression to the mean, blown up knees, boating accidents, the cops finding his kiddie porn stash, or failed PED tests.

the difference this time is that he almost looks too good to turn into a zesty player...so even tho its super early i think the bobby hoying fear is gone...which means thats one less thing to worry about...but it also opens up the catastrophe possibilities to something else

He's clearly got talent and poise. I'm only worried about injuries going forward and the Eagles not surrounding him with talent. Again, past experiences here...
