PA people, which state marks up near/in the mountainous regions would be the most abandoned even during a pandemic where people are looking to get outside? Think we might take a day trip to a park up in the mountains somewhere just to go somewhere where people aren't, if possible.

All parks are safe I hit my local parks up a few times a week with my dog and everyone maintains their distance even on narrow hiking trails. I usually go to Tyler because it's close to my house. If you're looking for a cool park to hit up ringing rocks is awesome

I used to get high as a kite off shrooms here. I took a tumble trying to climb without gear when I was in la la land

Odd update on the stim checks:  I hadn't gone on the IRS site all week.  Too busy and I got tired of seeing the same stupid message.

Anyway, checked it a while ago and got a request for more banking and 2018 tax return info.

Evidently on the other site they didn't have a category for what you paid out or received as a refund and that was fouling things up.

In other words, if you haven't checked it lately, try it now.  It may work.  Mine said it was successfully submitted and the dough will be transferred into my checking account.

Baltimore County (suburbs) and City are separate entities entirely.  County is around 825k people.  City is just under 600k.

Following tweet from the head of Baltimore County today:

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I'm just extra paranoid about being around people right now. Any idea how crowded that one is getting these days?

I've been checking out a few online but unfortunately it's hard to get a good idea of how frequented they are just by looking. Been looking as 'close' as just north/west of Reading to even further north/west than that. People probably would think we're insane but we did a cross country road trip so driving 3 hours to spend a few hours in a park and driving 3 hours back wouldn't really phase us that much hah. It would screw up the baby's sleep schedule though.

Jay get your people

Jesus Christ. This place is in Hedwig Village which is a little enclave of rich people literally along the side of I-10. We have a few places like that here. So no shock they're completely out of touch.

Civil disobedience and comparing breaking a pandemic distancing to Rosa Parks. Good grief

I try to donate blood 3-4 times a year. Usually just go on the app and schedule an appt for a day/time/place near me. I donated today, had to make the appt over a week in advance. No walk ins allowed. Red Cross is at capacity. Restored my faith in humanity slightly.

Well of course.

On the one hand, maybe this person will drink some bleach, which looks like it would be a net gain for humanity.

On the other hand, don't believe everthing you read on the Internet.
