I came across this 'jem'. I'm ashamed to admit I remembe watching this...I even remember the part where the misfits start singing. Just when you thought you could successfully bury a memory. Thanks Youtube.

Missed FG as time expires, the player catches it and pulls a Plaxico and spikes it, missed FG teams scoops it up and runs in for a GQ TD.

Well....we grew up during a period where cartoons kicked so much ass. There was nothing you could do until you finished watching the 2 or 3 hours of cartoons.

lolololol.  why did that dumbass even bother catching the ball in the first place?  i gotta guess that the only reason he was back there to begin with was in case of a fake fg.  coaches should have told him before the snap to leave it alone once it was kicked. 

also, nice camera work on that long pass before the fg attempt.  i don't know if that was the school's av club or a parent or what, but it's a pretty amazing shot considering that it was probably taken with nothing much better than an off the shelf video camera from best buy.

we still watched that, but i grew up in He Man/Thundercats/Go Bots/Transformers/GI Joe

As great as those were, the WB and Disney cartoons of the 90s shtein all over them. Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Tailspin, Rescue Rangers, etc.
