One of the best base runners in the league and maybe the greatest base slider ever on 2nd and Wathan holds him up on a single to right. He's awful and that was the game

That was awful!  Padres announcers were also perplexed.

trea's read was abysmal...he wasnt even at 3rd when tatis got the ball. it wouldve been an ultra aggressive send against an elite OF arm. as worthless as casty and kepler are, it wasnt the right call
