I learned to sew when I was a kid.  I have a pair of jeans where the seam came apart.  They've been sitting on a chair for weeks waiting for me to take them to the tailor. 

This evening I got a needle and thread and repaired them myself.

I'm actually pretty damn proud of myself right now.

I have no idea who this guy is but there's a good story out today about how Roger Ebert wrote the first review about him way back in the 70s after leaving a movie because the popcorn was too salty.
