like maybe they fully optimize for defense? maybe they swap out schwarber for a different sloth right handed power bat like alonso or hoskins. i dont know.

if healthy, their rotation is good and has a chance to be great with a fully formed painter. hold for laughter.

They have salary coming off the books and Castellanos/Walker coming off the books after next season. Not sure how deep uncle John wants to go in the hole next season but Tuckers only 28 and plays rf...perfect fit.

and hes not a perfect fit, hes another lefty. they need a righty masher - maybe they can finally pry ward away from the angels. its also not a super ideal fit, but LA probably would love to see teoscar go away since he cant move anymore. get him as a full time DH?

Yeah I gotta agree with lil guy here on Tucker - he's mentally and emotionally brittle. He'll thrive in markets where people don't care about sports or are bandwagoners (ala Houston).

im not sure if tucker is going to get the bag hes looking for...its possible he does the opt out contract thing, especially with the CBA up in the air for 27

so under THOSE circumstances, could you take a 1 year flyer on him for like 35 bills. maybe. but i am not giving him a 10-12 year deal.

Listened to Dumbo's year end.  With the exception of the outfield sure sunds like he wants to roll it all back out here in 2026, well as much as he can afford to.  He was basking in the 96 wins and when he said "we drew the wrong team in the NLDS, the defending world champs" HELLO!  Like it would have been easier in the NLCS. Stop it Dave.

On a positive note the Dodgers GM Friedman said Phillies were a beast.  Thought the pitching staffs approach to Ohtani was genius.  I listen to a lot of LA sports talk and they all are saying the Dodgers just made fewer mistakes and got lucky but man do they crucify Roberts.
