I remember that as well.  His high flying touchdown agianst Miami on Mon Night was pretty spectacular too.

That was Westbrook, Sassy...

........or not.

Rome

I stand corrected.   :)

Munson

I think Romey was referring to the pass from Freddie to Westbrook. But I don't even remember if that was against Miami.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

PhillyPhreak54

It was.

Westbrook beat Zach Thomas for the TD.

Rome

Westbrook also scored on a running play (GASP!) on the first possession.  It was like 20-25 yards, something like that.  That's the play I thought he lept through the air on.

Meh - I was gagged that night from partying at Tailgate Russ's shindig at Calder Race Track.

Good times.

What ever happens you have to admire his dedication.....that's a lot of pain to go through to come back and give it a go!

Never thought this would cheer me up but who set up westy's TD run(which happened on the second play of that game)?  Pinky!  I can't recall how far it was but I believe it was over 40+.  That play was rather generic for the birds that year as they opened several games with the Pinky go long play.

Yep.  If I remember correctly, the Eagles opened up with a big kick return around midfield and then McNabb hit Pink deep and Westbrook finished it off.  There was a season's worth of highlights in that game too.

Buckhalter  - the perfect fit! For a trade with the Bills. Buckhalter-McGahee, how could the Bills resist that opportunity.
Hollis, Buckhalter and a draft pick for Moulds. Thats the same as Hollis and a draft pick as far as player contribution to the Eagles team is concerned.
