I don't know but I do know maybe teams should position their rosters to where the term bullpen game didn't become a thing?

that doesnt make any sense...nobody except for maybe tampa is trying to do bullpen games. they are done out of necessity because every single team has a dearth of starting pitching. the dodgers have been decimated by injuries there and have 3 usable arms left.

if the phillies wouldve lost one of their 4 guys, they wouldve done the same thing. theres just not enough men in the world who can go through a playoff lineup 2/3 times

No I get that. I'm saying that it's a shame that rotations aren't four/five deep like before.

And my god could the Yankees defense be any worse?! Judge drop, Volpe throw and Cole not covering the bag.

rotations arent as deep because of how insanely good pitchers need to be to start in the playoffs. every lineup has guys 1-9 who can take you deep, they all grind out ABs, its not like it was before where you had slappy joes and hacky hanks and pitchers hitting....due to that, pitchers have to throw harder and nastier to survive - guess what that leads to? more and more injuries, because the human arm cannot do this.

and even when you have a pitcher who has this magical arm, like cole, he still can implode. the yankees defense is atrocious.

I hadn't watched a moment of the series until tuning in last night at 0-5. 
Proceeded to watch the Yankees pile malpractice (pitcher not covering first) on incompetence (bad throw/bobble catch at third) onto bush league inattention (Judge error.)
It was fun to see, but not fun enough to keep watching after they drew even so I went to bed.

I'm delighted to wake up and find that the Yankees continued to blow chunks, and now baseball is done for a couple weeks.
