Not sure why they're still using umps to call balls and strikes when the technology is available to do it electronically with way more accuracy. The balls either in the strike zone or it's not. The players will stop bitching too. Win/win for everyone. There can still be a home plate ump for check swings, foul tips and calls at the plate. Lil guy will be along shortly with some answer nobody asked for or cares about. Stand by.

but yes there needs to be robo umps. the technology is too good and the human eye is too inconsistent. my guess is some kind of challenge system is implemented first....eventually theyll go to full robo but baby steps first.

Angels Reed Detmers just threw a no hitter

Brett Phillips had to pitch for TB bc the Halos were rocking them. He gave up a bomb to Trout and then Rendon decided to hit lefty for the first time and went yard too

We get the Angels network here so watch a lot of the Halos.  Ohtani, and we were lucky enough to see him play and pitch in person in Phoenix last June, is worth the price of admission.  This is something special happening here.
