Todd, i have that exhausting converstion with my Philly boys out here all the time. The whole "it's warming up" "they're hitting the ball hard" "Harper's back soon" etc. comments I shoot down like fish in a barrel. So only the Phillies meathead lineup wakes up in July - Sept? Yeah, they hit the ball hard and right at the other team's defense.

Strahm looks spent. Those were three loud outs in bottom ninth. Mr. Ozempic messed up Strahm big time.

theres nothing to heat up...their offense is what it is

they need to do some drastic things at the deadline to come away with a different method. the strength of the team is pitching pitching pitching.

doubleheaders are rigged...its always a split and you might as well of not even bothered. just take a W and move on

Loseardo and Blow Ross, tie um' to an airel and set it off. Loseardo and his roller coaster act is getting old.

On a positive note, once again nice work by the B team out of the bullpen. After Ross melted like a roman candle, the rest pitched very well.

hes a mechanical mess right now because he had to change his shtein around due to pitch tipping, specifically with men on base. its not great. the stuff is still really good, thats not the issue here.

they had some major chances to tie up or win the game, but we musnt besmirch precious bohm or stott.

my guy saw middleton at the pops concert...he doesnt know ball to talk shop but john told him he "wasn't happy." so theres that.

john doesnt make trades, he really does let dombo do what he wants. but he does set the budget and would have to give the go ahead to eat contracts like a certain oafish RF
