hes a terrible infielder, even worse than he is in LF. thats why hes a bench bat thats bounced around a bunch.

the phillies made a bet than miller, hoskins, bohm, didi, etc. would outhit their collective awful defense. thus far really only rhys has. and thats the main the reason the phillies are a boring, mediocre team

2nd inning they have 2 on, 0 out. odubel swings at the first pitch after a walk and a 3-2 count, k's. so they get 1 not 2. 1-2-3 in the 3rd with the top of the order. the offense is pathetic. i dont give a shtein what their 6th best starting pitcher does.

herrera hasnt been good since really 2017 and newsflash he still sucks in 2021

they gave him a 5 year deal. quinn was a 2nd round pick. moniak was 1-1. haseley was a first round pick. none of these guys can play CF. kingery was a 2nd round pick and he is broken.

letting vince stay in this game leads me to believe he has moore's rotation spot. they want to stretch him out and get him to 90 pitches. not sure if thats a good idea but i like pain so sign me up for more vinny velo

they are doing that, probably for anderson. the plan for 2 months was to use him as a piggy back reliever but now hes a starter again because theyre a well oiled machine

so joe let vince hit for himself, then pulled him after 2 batters because he didnt want him to face goldy/arenado. which makes sense! but why not just hit for him? then bring in kintzler clean? i dont know im just a dude
