really one of the most pathetic performances in team history...they get 7 shutout, are up 1-0 on the 3rd pitch of the game and just lay down for 8 innings. no competitive at bats. no real chance to do anything. horrible body language. the same god awful at bats that got them knocked out last year. felt like they all wanted to be at the super maga rally in butler.

hoffman-strahm-kerkering are their best relievers and they were all garbage. i dont even know what you do here with this. they were all great all year and have the stuff to get high leverage outs. this, i chalk up to the cruelty of baseball. the offense can die.

the atmosphere was pretty good. tailgate was a zoo. id say less than 10% mets fans. maybe 7-8. itll be more tomorrow.
