Holy crap!  That was quite the adventure.  6 innings of watching this teams shortcomings shine again, getting shut down by Jake Irvin to watching batting practice on the Anacostia.

Is this just a young team playing with house money late in the season or do my eyes deceive me?  Nats got some good young talent.

toronto's ballpark (skydome, is it?) is complete garbage. its a cement block on the outside, looks like a mall on the inside. there is no atmosphere or feel. horrible.

i also went to syracuse for an outrageously awful AAA game (ive never seen 2 teams less interested...columbus took the lead in T8 on a 2 run bomb and the dugout quite literally did not react) and ny for saturday's sox/yanks game (we stole $350 seats from money grubbing steinbrenner and that park blows too).

the phillies are 3 games clear of the giant pack of giraffe crap behind him, 6 teams for 2 spots. would be an epic collapse to not make it. they have plenty of room to breathe. we in the dog days.
