game now meaningless as oprah might be running for president
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Errands gonna farg me... I have to travel (by car) during at least the beginning of the game.  Driving to Peekskill.  Gonna try to get a radio broadcast and make the kids shut the farg up.

not to worry, according to some, the game is already decided.

QB Eagles

FPI is the same deal as the 538 Elo score. Those models know what the Eagles have done so far (who they played, how badly they won or lost) and are usually pretty accurate at ranking teams. But there's no input to the model to say that the main guy who was responsible for how the Eagles played all year isn't gonna play this game, so it's going to be wildly inaccurate for this kind of scenario.

I look at the Eagles roster and I still see a really good team. The negatives are Foles (bad but not Nathan Peterman level bad), the dumbass head coach who I am still OUT on, and the overall deflated feeling everyone has over the Wentz injury. Those are three huge negatives but I still wouldn't be shocked if the talented and rested roster pulled out a win at home against a flawed Falcons team. Not likely, but far from impossible.

the question to me isnt if the eagles will win but instead will they score any offensive touchdowns not greatly aided by a turnover

another question is what do you think has a higher chance of happening...the eagles scoring two offensive touchdowns or none

The real question is how many of us are ready to slit our wrists after reading this depressing thread. Should I even bother watching the Eagles until Wentz gets back?

Jesus christ all of you. It's almost as if Nick Foles was going to be the starting QB of the home divisional playoff game or something.

Oh...wait...
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

this being a divisional playoff game is a bad thing for foles

he played at home against an uninterested not very good dallas defense was trying as hard as he could and was unspeakably bad

None

I think they'll get a couple turnovers, maybe score an offensive TD off one if it's deep enough in the Falcons territory. I think Elliot will be really busy.

Playoff tickets are going for $500. I wish I had a pair I'd sell them then bet the $1000 on the Falcons.
