it was a dumb call in theory but they had julio 1-1 with jalen mills and julio slipped. who knows what happens if he stays upright but this is not a terrible matchup.

but overall yea hes terrible and i have zero clue why he wasnt fired midseason

Playing armchair qb I would have tried something in the back of the endzone to Jones/Sanu. But I agree Mills on Julio you take that every time. Julio should have caught that but even if he does his foot would have landed out of bounds.

Cox was simply dominant last night. Granted the Falcons guards suck but even when they tried double teaming him he fought threw. Best DT in the game. Weather aside I'm surprised the Falcons didn't take more shots downfield.

Doug had amazing game plan. He relegated Foles to game manager and once he saw some openings in the defense and Foles got into a rythym he opened it up a bit. The weather played perfect for what he needed to do.

Blount "I heard this was a bye week, it was, for them...bye "

Lurie dancing after the game is a reminder of just how bush league this franchise is and will forever remain.  Imagine Robert Kraft dancing after a divisional playoff win.

EMBARRASSING.

I'm no Lurie fan but I loved it. Who cares what Kraft and the other stiff white owners do after a big win. The team got a kick out of it.

stop trolling the eagles won
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Rome

Oh please.  He's a windmill loving jerkoff and that was first rate humiliating.

I agree he's a windmill loving jerkoff but the one thing I always appreciated about Lurie is his relationship with his players. He's been an owner for a quarter of a century and I never remember hearing a bad word about the man from a player. Even Shady who had every reason to be bitter as hell gave him a hug when the Bills came to town. I liked his candor.

It was embarrassing in the sense that old white dudes dancing is always embarrassing, but given the fact that there hasn't been much playoff success around here for nearly a decade, I think it's perfectly fine for him (or anyone else) to be excited.  And especially after the Chip debacle, for them to be where they are in 2 years is pretty awesome.

Enjoy it you farging curmudgeon.

For real

And goal from the two?

Shout out to Sark whose been a problem for them all season. Rolling out and cutting the field I half is so dumb especially on a short field.

That play call is probably going to save Matt Ryan a lot of grief about a play before when he had a TE running wide open right in front of him and he held the ball so long that it gave the LB (I think it was Bradham) a chance to close in.  By the time Ryan threw it, they were closing in on the sideline and even had he caught it, I'm not positive he's able to turn and get in.

Yeah good point. TE had leverage and angle there and Ryan hesitated way too much. The DB had vacated the goal line so the TE was going to walk in
