My buddy - a Chargers fan who lives in LA - was a the game. He said it was a complete embarrassment and that he now hates Eagles fans.

He grew up in SD, but moved around from LA to SD and back and forth. He's loyal, I admire him for that. Usually when I talk to fans from teams like the Chargers they don't know jack shtein, but he knows a lot about football.

I highly doubt it. I'm not saying some fans wouldn't jump ship but if you stop rooting for a team you've rooted for your whole life because they moved across the bridge you were never a real fan to begin with. Hell the Giants have been in Jersey their whole existence yet people from NY are still loyal.

your point is still valid but giants have played more than half their existence in new york city....they didnt move to new jersey until the mid 70's

i picked central jersey because i was thinking of the closest place to philly that is not a part of philly. SD and LA are close but 2 separate markets. SD people dont like LA teams.

my point is though if the eagles moved anywhere outside of the philly area...pittsburgh, baltimore, toronto, mars, etc....i would be out. OUT. i would join the mob in raiding the novacare. if this was a 49ers situation where they left the city and went to another part of the delaware valley (lets say, wilmington), i would mad as farg but still in.

which is why i dont get out san diego people could still follow the team. this creep owner bailed on your city to be the 8th wheel in LA to drive up the price of his franchise and you're like...ok, cool, go chargers. pathetic.

san diego moved to a different city and changed their name....thats pretty much an automatic out for anyone

theres obviously exceptions....i know in baltimore theres old timers who will still only root for the colts...but in general no one in a city of a team who has moved and changed their name to another city is still rooting for that team

the one exception might be the raiders....people in oakland will root for them no matter where they go...but raider fans root for the pirate and the uniforms (which to be fair are probably the best uniforms in sports history) and the "raider way" more than they root for the team....in short they are weirdos

they are ancient heads who saw johnny unitas play....they refuse to acknowledge the ravens exist and know nothing other than the horseshoe...there isnt many....i was just using them as the exception to the rule
