yeah his first year it seemed like he was going to be pretty fair but he went full homer quick.

and I don't know how the radio to tv thing works but maybe McGinnis takes over?  unless people still listen to basketball on the radio?

ice grillin you

yeah i thought he was really good early...and then he went off the rails...i used to wonder if it came down from management to homer it up more

i would think mcginnis is certainly on the short list if not the leader in the clubhouse

Zoo was legit good. Like in a different world he's doing games on tnt. No idea how they'll get to free place him but chances are it'll be unbearable with Alaa
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Zoo was fantastic.

I enjoy McGinnis too.

But to call Zoo and Mix, while great, the best in the city is wrong. Harry and Whitey.

love them but thought whitey was a little overrated...mix was a way better basketball announcer than whitey was a baseball announcer imo...harry in his prime was magical tho....i give him a slight edge over zoom but not enough to close the gap between the color guys

Fair on Mix/Whitey

But the sports and their pacing has to be factored in. Hoops is obviously fast paced and needs almost instant analysis and observations.

And obviously baseball is so slow that the chemistry of the crew is important. For a crew to be able to be like Harry and Whitey is special. It felt like they were just sitting there bullshteinting and carrying the nights with stories.

Maybe Zumoff will backfill Scott O'Neills hole whatever it is that he actually did.

You Are Where Your Feet Are. what a douche.

a 60something broadcaster immediately transitioning into a hack for a hedge fund sounds pretty logical

zoo/mix was probably a better pure broadcast in terms of analyzing the game and offering relevant information....not exactly whitey's specialty. dude was banging whores and getting old man messed up on his pipe before games, then hed saunter on camera and babble some generalities about whatever terrible game was about to take place. however him and h were unmatched in terms of chemistry and entertainment value.

yes obvi I was kidding but everything I have ever read about or heard from Scott O'Neill is insufferable.  for someone who writes terrible self help books he is really quick to take credit for things.

Bring Dario back as a stretch five for the love of farging Christ.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

its a great morey tweet but its a point ive been yelling about since day 1. there are a number of different ways to build a contender beyond intentionally losing and collecting lotto balls. the hinkie virgins would have you believe this was the only route...but it aint. pompey is bad but hes on point here

I sure a guy named Tad will turn things around.

Don Ho

'Cause it's all about the CEO.
