Joe Mixon, Woman Beater or World Beater at RB?

I would love it if they drafted this guy.  The hand-wringing and spleen-venting that would occur afterward would be glorious!

i wouldnt want him unless he showed true remorse and actually became a better person for it....i.e. you gotta put your security team to work and dig up every last detail on his character when the lights are off him

I'm fine with the Eagles taking him in the 3rd or later.  I don't think you need to spend high picks on RBs.

Mixon might be an icehole but I guarantee the woman he punched is no prize specimen either.  And even if she was..whatever, she was punched.  She's fine.  Get over the trauma, don't hang with scumbags...eat shtein loser human.

I wouldn't go for drinks with this guy, or let my daughter hang with him, but if the Eagles want to pick him up and spin this as second chance Christian love for the sweet sweet money then good for them.

Also, I love dogs and what Vick did was terrible.  But Vick paid his dues and then some and by all accounts has been a legit guy and great in the community since then.  I have nothing but respect for how he has handled things since.

agreed and mixon deserves every chance to do the same....im just saying if i had my say in the matter it wouldnt be with the eagles

Vick went to jail for 18 months. 

If mixon went to jail for 18 months and has been relentlessly involved in anti-domestic violence groups, volunteering places and giving speeches in communities about it then maybe we can have the same conversation.

ETA- I'm not saying mixon should never be allowed to play football again.  But if a girl hits you and you're a legit athlete built like he is and your response is to hit her so hard her jaw is surgically wired shut, let's not act like she's ok or implying she deserved that response.  K?

I haven't followed his case.  Was he charged?  Convicted?  All I know is, he punched a human on tape and people are acting like he's public enemy number one. 

All the hand wringing and crying over this cracks me up.
