Yeah, other than Osweiler's awful contract, giving up a 4th and getting that return isn't bad at all.  I don't think Osweiler will amount to shtein, but I guess it's possible that he winds up being decent.  If he even just provides them some stability at QB for 2 or 3 years, it's well worth it for them.

Although I don't know who else would want him at that price. Salary eating trades on this scale are kinda unheard of in the NFL.

The Browns basically bought a 2nd round pick.  They could just cut Osweiler and still have made out the better.  Maybe they make that crystal clear to him and give the kid a shot.  He does okay while they wait for Wentz to mature...oh....I mean Goff....er...
