The only reason Hinkie drafted Jah in the first place was because JoJo had the major setback with his foot.  Had to have a big to fall back on in case Embiid was done.  That's typical Philly shtein to have it work out this way.

Getting a 1st in return for him is great, imo.  Can hopefully  be used in a package to move up in the draft if they need to.

Hinkie wanted Porzingis but he didn't want to come here and his agent did everything in his power to make that known (no private workout etc.). Jah was the consensus pick. I don't fault Hinkie for taking him.

Now it's being reported Jrue might be involved and the Pels are talking to several different teams.

One nugget I can add to Jahlil Okafor story: Multiple teams interested in him. 76ers not rushing into deal unless they get what they want.

is there any evidence hinkie wanted porzingis? i know he wanted to talk to him...wow!! if he wanted to take him, he couldve. but theres a damn good reason his agent did everything he could to make sure that wouldnt happen.

i mean hinkie failed at cultivating relationships and was mediocre at best at talent evaluation. so sad to see him go. have fun taking meets in sillicon valley you anti social geek.
