Good point on Carr

A case could be made for any of the four. I feel like Ryan would be fourth though.

Rodgers
Carr
Brady
Ryan

QB Eagles

Matt Ryan's 2016 passer rating is tied for third best all time but you think he was the 4th best QB this season? Other than prejudice from prior seasons I don't understand the argument for Rodgers over him. Ryan's probably going to be the actual MVP. He's got the numbers and he's been excellent all season, balling with and without Julio. I just like Carr for it because that team sucks cock without him.

Sgt PSN

Brady is the GOAT, but his team went 3-1 without him while using 2 different QBs.  Had they been 1-3 without him then it'd be a totally different story.

MDS

1. carr
2. rodgers
3. dak

im a big AR fan but they were garbage for the first half of the season.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

its brady and not really close....look at their farging roster...someone named james white was second on the team in receptions...and their one good receiver is named julian

dak probably second

Prescott's not even the MVP of his own offense.

Diomedes

Carr has to be the MVP.  The Patriots can and do win without Brady.

I'd go with Carr myself.  Oakland is a disaster without him.

smeags

id say carr as well, but def have brady as a close 2nd.

brady had a qbr 15 pts better than carr and threw for the same amount of td's in a 130 less attempts....brady went 28-2 for the year

giving carr the mvp over him is silly...giving it to him because jimmy garrapolo after six months of getting ready played better than matt mcgloin who was given about 100 hrs to prepare is laughable...seems like a weird justification to not pick brady because he wears uggs

did oakland beat a single playoff team this year....im not sure about that but i do know they lost to every good team they played

The last time a QB had a similar 28/2 ratio was Nick Foles and you remember how staunchly IGY advocated him for MVP.

Diomedes

Stats schmats.  Without Brady, the Patriots still win.  Without Carr, the Raiders don't.

The award is for the player that matters most to his team.  It's not really even debatable this year.

Unless you want to argue Justin Tucker.  Ravens lol.

that seems like a well thought out analogy

not sure you can make a definitive statement as to what the raiders would have done without Carr since they played one game without him....also we really have no one idea what the raiders would have won without Carr because he didn't beat any good teams...who knows if mcgloin couldn't have won say ten games...we also have  no idea what garrappolo/Brissette would have done over a full season

luckily both Brady and Carr played most of the season and Brady had a better year with less weapons...this way we don't have to give out the "what if" MVP trophy
