i went to bmore for o's/sox because why not

havent been to the yard in around 20 years (yea, im that old) but its a pretty great place. the people there are overwhelmingly not from balmer or just outright white trash, but the stadium is terrific. they played that awful "im proud to be an american" song and did a hoedown country thing in the 7th inning. isnt maryland a blue state?

I hated the idea of them getting a new stadium already but this further cements my hate for the deal. It's not as bad as the farging that the Marlins gave Miami but it's close.

Absolute Joke that a stadium 20 years old is outdated. Ownership more excited about the shopping complex built around the ballpark then they are the team. Trader Joe's and a Cheesecake Factory will pack um' in.
