i was dealing with a mad stomach bug the last few days...saw the sked on twitter around midnght sunday and didnt know if it was a fever dream or what

i honestly have no clue what prompted it. the only 2 things that come to mind: 1) minny was always playing in that nbc game, and they didnt want a night game there because of safety concerns 2) nbc wanted a game that sunday because of the globes

no matter how you shake it, fox has gotten the raw end of the deal yet again overall. if you dont care about this shtein, and im sure you dont, rest assured, somewhere, joe buck, aikman and rupert are pouting right now.

Also, since I'm living out in Seahawk land now, it's strange as farg that the one game involving a west coast team gets the one 10am start. And if they win, they get the only 10am start next week too.

Some people are claiming it disadvantages the team. Sounds like bullshtein to me, but the early start time is lame for the fans and for the sports bars.

It starts at 1000 because that's 1 pm on the East coast.  They're at Minny, so it'll be a 1200 kickoff locally. This is no different than the reg season.

Portland. Seahawk land is very large. Not a lot of teams out here. I'll probably go to a bar and see how well the 12th man represents for a 10am playoff game. I'm predicting a scene deader than the average east coast NFL Sunday afternoon, but maybe they'll surprise me.
