The play is to run and try to score.  If you don't you call a TO with :55 or so left and decide what you want to do.  I probably go for it then to try to end it and if you don't get it you make Dallas start at the 1, but regardless at least that's a debatable option.  What just happened...no words.

Yeah I texted when it was 2nd and goal that it was four down territory.   Sequence should've been run and then go for it on fourth.

i dont have a big problem with being overly aggressive and trying to end it by catching dallas off guard and throwing a td pass to finish them...but the second its not 100% there eli has to fall to the ground

And totally agree it is on Eli for not going down there and taking the sack. He should not have to be reminded. But McAdoo should not have called pass and Coughlin should have vetoed it.

yup, i actually like the play call because you can win the game right there.  if its executed properly it's either touchdown or its get down for a sack, run the clock down and have a 6 point lead.
