no idea of the severity...but he was on the field for five minutes and players were around him praying....not warm and fuzzy signs

either way the slot position is not a good look...i just don't fully understand the philosophy of down grading at positions....first at guard then in the slot

I think it goes towards the power chip has...it's actually historic and he knows it....when a coach takes over you expect turnover but that's usually year one maybe two...chip is still weakening the team in his model in year three...and it's because he knows he's untouchable...if hes right then it's actually a good thing if you have the patience cause you hope he wins a sb in a couple years

but it's pretty amazing having a five year plan in today's nfl where almost any team can go from three to 10 wins in any year

A normal coach would put Rowe at safety and Thurmond at nickel. Chip being a weirdo, I guess the slot will provisionally belong to Jaylen Watkins.

the slot position is not a nickel spot anymore...you need three corners on most plays these days...unless you have a hybrid safety like Malcolm jenkins who will be imo the guy you see in the slot a lot now
