A bit optimistic to think this game would be over by 730.

I am so pissed right now.  Every game overlapped today.  All 4 games on Friday and now on a Monday.  Stupid MLB.  Shorten this stupid season to 154 games and let the few fans they have left enjoy the playoffs.

They'll never shorten the season by minusing games but they should do more double headers so the regular season ends earlier

Double headers are horrible and they've always been horrible. 6-7+hours of baseball?  No thanks. I love me some baseball, but a double header is just too much. It's fine if you need them as make up games, but other than that they blow. From an owners perspective they lose revenue and from a player perspective, that's a really long farging day.

i know don is 80...which is the mlb fan base...but mlb should stash as many of these games as they can against each other. they wouldnt be able to do it until the next tv deal, but they should mimic the ncaa tournament in the division series. the ratings arent strong enough to warrant spreading the games out.

each fan base will watch their team...the 1-2 million seamheads will cry, then watch anyway. in the LCS you air them separately, of course. i cannot understand how a big sporting event is starting at 100 on a monday in 2015. its asinine.

the nba and the nhl dont do this. they have games on at the same time in the 1st round of the playoffs. they dont air them in the afternoon. mlb does because .... because i have no idea.

anyway, los doyer folding on the road in the playoffs. Hoyda ass la squad. what else is new?

nothing was stopping the mets tonight...that place was a cesspool of humanity but it was also an incredible atmosphere...dodgers looked legit scared...even the mighty grit was too shook to play when there's no  way in hell he doesn't get the start without the body block episode...there's s reason down the line in right field at citi is called GRIT's corner

then of course all the same people are mocking jimmys terrible first at bat last night....which admittedly was horrible...you can tell jimmy heart is not in it out there...but still go to hell everyone
