you don't cancel the whole trip....but you under no circumstances miss the eagle game....no one even says you have to be at the game....but to miss it?.....I know that's not everyone but that aint me son....guess what i did in the outer banks last sunday?

hint: I didn't go fishing or hang out at the beach

and I  wasn't even dissin smeags...I was simply letting everyone know what he meant.....he wasn't saying he literally couldn't find a sports bar to watch it

And if you're referring to say, a Champions League Final with Manchester United, hell yes I'd rather see that in person than any random Eagles game.  I've been to a couple hundred Eagles games, but never something like that.

My interest in the NFL and the Eagles specifically is at an all-time low.  I hate watching it because it's boring.  It's littered with moronic penalties.  They can't hit each other anymore.  The defensive backs can't even touch a farging receiver without drawing a flag.  They won't let the players celebrate.  The prices to attend games are disgusting.  Goodell is a piece of shtein.  I hate Lurie and his pink windmill liberal pussified stadium.   But most of all I'm sick of the Eagles just plain sucking.   They never win shtein and they're not going to win anything any time soon with their miserable defense.

In short, I'm more cynical and disinterested in this than I've ever been at any time in my life.

are there things id like to change about todays nfl?...absolutely....is one of them to go back to a time when donovan mcnabb would have been a hof qb...NO.....im also nowhere near the point of it causing me to go fishing or watch soccer over an eagles game

what you are really saying is that wes hopkins > nate allen and reggie white > brandon graham...and of course i agree with that

no one loves buddy and those uniforms more than me....and i 100% agree with the nostalgia part of it....i feel equally strong about the 80's flyer teams....but players or a uniform color doesnt change how much i watch my football team....in fact i don't even root for the eagles....i root for philadelphia

And Wes Hopkins > everything ever.   Meeting him in person was one of the highlights of my life as a sports fan.   One cool motherfarger, that dude.
