so his option vests for 15. now its the summer of 15. jimmy still has game left and is looking for a 2 year deal. jp crawford is tearing it up in reading and by all accounts should be ready by the summer of 16. now what do you do? trade jimmy? resign him and block jp? let him walk?

Agreed.  I was listening to Missanelli a few weeks ago, and Mikey Miss was saying that Rollins (and Utley) would be selfish if they don't agree to waive their no-trade clause - and even selfish if they don't demand to be traded.  For some reason, I have a feeling that a significant percentage of idiot fans would agree with that sentiment.

it can be galvis...it can be ronny cedeno...it can be schmuel greenberg. it doesnt matter.

the phillies need to move anything and everything they can in order to stockpile prospects. holding on to aging stars doesnt accomplish anything. it doesnt sell tickets, it doesnt win titles. move on.

mvp cody asche has 3rd locked and the lee trade netted them a good 2B. its SS or bust.

perhaps this is just the difference between myself and other fans. yall worship players and think it means something that they play every last second of their careers with 1 team and want to honor them for past accomplishments. i dont care. theyre just human beings. they have no purpose on this team other than being window dressing on a sinking ship.
