If HanRam gave a shtein and ran harder or slid, LA would've had a better argument for awarding the run, but damn, if that got overturned for a jogger that was out by 20 feet....

its especially silly since ruiz did what any other 3b or 2b does at their bag. put the leg in front of it so the runner cant touch the bag. they do it without the ball, too, but its not even a factor.

the worst part of the rule is catchers, umpires and managers dont even know what the rule is. neither does mlb. but yet, its a rule. go bud go.
