Early in the season, when this madness began, I thought MDS was right. Kendrick was a legitimate late rotation starter. Nothing great, nowhere near as disastrous as his critics were treating him.

Those days are long gone. Kendrick flat out sucks these days. Maybe he's lost whatever he had, maybe the team being terrible has just drained the effort out of him. He shouldn't start for anyone next year, but someone (hopefully not the Phils) could be desperate enough to throw a tiny one year deal at him.

kendrick, before this season, was a solid 4-5 guy. for whatever reason he was despised by the meathead wip fan base. this year hes been an atrocity and is only in the rotation because the phillies dont have any better options. not one, actually. its really, really sad.
