that play is utley not realizing hes not 26 anymore

hes a step or two slower than he was in 2007....but yet GRIT and HUSTLE and GRIT and he has to go for the out at 2nd when it wasnt there/not physically possible for him to get. and then ben reveres throw after zimmermans single. jesus christ just cut him already. he sucks.

4th best offensively

though his defense is a quite horrible actually. hes definitely in the top 10, but thats as far as ill go. not bad for a 35 year old, about what youd expect.

jimmy is probably overall, all told, better at his position right now than utley is. hes a step slower but his defense is still really solid. hes got the 3rd best obp among ss. gawd.

Totally agree with you on Papelbon.  I can't stand the guy but hats off to him.  He has no power left in his arm but seems to have come to that realization and is working with what he has.
